Barnstable Town Councilor Will Crocker of Centerville received endorsements from many county government officials this week.
“I have the ability to find common ground and know how to disagree without being disagreeable. We are facing serious challenges in Barnstable and Yarmouth and I am prepared to set aside partisanship to lead efforts with both sides of the aisle to solve these problems,” said Crocker.
A media release from the Crocker campaign includes the endorsements of the following Cape and Islands County officials:
Barnstable County Sheriff Jim Cummings, Cape & Islands District Attorney Michael O’Keefe, Barnstable Register of Probate and Family Court Anastasia Welsh Perrino, Barnstable County Clerk of Courts Scott Nickerson, Barnstable County Register of Deeds Jack Meade and Barnstable County Commissioner Leo Cakounes.
“I’ve known and worked with Will many years, his knowledge of the correctional system and on opioid addiction will give our community another great advocate on Beacon Hill,” said Cummings.
O’Keefe stated, "Will has demonstrated his commitment to public service and will make an effective State Representative for Barnstable and Yarmouth."
In addition to serving on the Town Council, Crocker is a trustee for Cape Cod Community College and the Barnstable Historical Society. He lives with his wife Judy in Centerville.
