OPINION/LETTER: Will Crocker puts his constituents first

In a letter to the editor of the Cape Cod Times published on October 22nd, Anthony Amore, 2018 Republican nominee for Secretary of State, shares his personal experiences with Will Crocker and urges voters to re-elect Will Crocker.

OPINION/LETTER: Will Crocker puts his constituents first

When I ran for statewide office in 2018, I had the opportunity to join state Rep. Will Crocker as he knocked on doors to meet with constituents in Barnstable. As we strolled through the neighborhoods, I talked at length with Will about his work as a state legislator and gained a real insight into the man who represents your district.

I was struck by Will’s interest in good government. Though we discussed politics, he didn’t speak of conflicts with other factions in the House of Representatives. Instead, he talked about the things that are important to his district, like jobs, taxes and public safety. He told me about his experience as an educator in the correctional system and his interest in making an impact in the battle against opioid addiction. I noted his pride in public service and I was taken by the energy and enthusiasm Will has for walking through his district and meeting voters.

Your readers have the rare opportunity to return to the Statehouse a man committed to putting his neighbors before political ambition. I urge them to reelect Will Crocker.
